Lima, OH (WLIO) - Hundreds of friends of the Lima Memorial Foundation, gathered Thursday night at Innovative packaging, for the "Journey Repackaged."
It's the Foundations annual fundraising gala; which was back and "repackaged, after a couple years on hold during the Covid pandemic. Participants enjoyed a silent auction and gourmet food, as well as music. This years event supporting the establishment of a chronic disease management program. Statistics show 60% of adults in Ohio, have at least one chronic health condition, and Lima Memorial Health System, is re-imagining health care, to better meet their needs.
The Lima Memorial Foundation's board committed to raising 750 thousand dollars for the program. 100% of all gifts made to the Lima Memorial foundation stay within the community, supporting everything from Health programs, to advanced technology.
