After surviving previous cutbacks made by the retail chain, there is news tonight that the Lima Sears store is shutting down.
According to a news release from Sears Holdings, the parent company of the chain, the Lima's Sears will be among just over 60 Sears and Kmart stores to be shuttered. The company says the Sears Auto Center in Lima will be closed by late June, while the retail store in the Lima Mall will be closing by early September. Liquidation sales at the Sears stores being shut down, could start as early as June 14th.
