Ohio House releases its version of Capital Funding Bill

$350 million of the two billion is leftover money from the one-time strategic community investment fund, the rest will be paid for through bonds. The bill will fund numerous school, infrastructure, and community projects. Some of the local projects proposed to get funding include nearly one million dollars for the second phase of the Galvin Hall renovation project and $1.7 million for Rhodes State to do renovations. Parks in Waynesfield, Ada, Ottoville, Fort. Jennings and Hancock County have been allocated funds for improvements. There is $1.2 million for the Findlay YMCA and half a million for the Ohio Northern Mobile Health Clinic.

The Ohio Senate has not released its version of the capital bill, but that could come this spring.
