The Ohio State University of Lima helped spread kindness through a plant program.
The Webb Office of Student Life in collaboration with the College of Food Agriculture and Environmental Sciences held the Growing Kindness program. The project has staff, faculty, and students plant two succulents, one to keep for themselves and one to give away in kindness to someone else.
"It helps relieve your stress," said Liz Imel, a volunteer for the program. "And having plants especially is a good thing to take care of every day and it's something alive that you can take care of that's not going to be a big hassle like a pet and it's a really great stress relief for students.
