BATH TOWNSHIP, OH (WLIO) - The March primary is finally here, and Allen County election officials hope you exercise your right to vote.
Your Hometown Stations stopped in at several Bath Township polling locations to find sparse voters. Voters in Bath Township have two levies on the ballot. One is a fire levy and another for road construction and repairs. The presiding judges at the locations said they were anticipating a more brisk response from voters.
"I thought it would be busier because of the Bath levies, but so far it's not. Maybe when people get off work, it will get better tonight," said Sue Schoonover, presiding judge.
"Hey, we're surprised we're a little slow. At the moment we have a few people in here; it's kind of slow," commented Lois Kenneby, presiding judge.
The polls are open until 7:30 p.m. this evening.
