You will find a wide variety of gift baskets that have been donated by the clubs throughout the county.
In its 10th year, their silent auction is being held in the Youth Exhibit Building on the north side of the fairgrounds. You will find a wide variety of gift baskets that have been donated by the clubs throughout the county. Proceeds from the sale will go toward 4-H programming.

"Usually we get a couple thousand dollars out of it every year, and that really helps us, like I said, with our in-school programs and all of our 4-H programs throughout the year. Usually, it's like a basket for movies, or a grilling basket, or some of our dog clubs bring in dog care baskets and things like that," said Kelly Coble, Allen County 4-H educator.
The way it works is you write down a bid and come back throughout the fair to see if you need to bid again to try and win the basket. Bidding will end at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 24th.
