May 30, 2024, Press Release from the Lima Symphony Orchestra: Lima, OH (May 30, 2024) – The Friends of the Symphony are holding a fundraiser this summer in support of the Lima Symphony Orchestra. This lighthearted fundraiser, affectionately known as “Flock a Friend,” is a way for symphony supporters to offer their donations to the symphony in a fun, lighthearted way. Simply order a surprise “flock” of flamingos for a friend or loved one, and our Friends of the Symphony will bring a flock directly to their lawn! You may also purchase “flock insurance” to keep your own lawn safe from the flocks of flamingos migrating through Lima!
