ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Another teen was indicted for the June murder of 17-year-old Jaden Halpern.
The Allen County Grand Jury has charged 18-year-old Bryanna Houston with murder, aggravated burglary, and aggravated robbery charges. Houston is still in a juvenile detention center, along with three other juveniles under 18 years old charged in the case.
Two other 18-year-olds, Keion Darden and Jaquan Glenn, have their cases going through Allen County Common Pleas Court. All of the defendants are facing murder charges. According to law enforcement, on June 10th the group tried to lure Halpern out of his Lane Ave. home. When they failed to do so, some of them forced their way into the house, allegedly carrying air rifles. Halpern's dad saw the weapons and fired a shot hitting his son in the process killing him.
