A jury trial has concluded its second day for a Lima man facing multiple charges including rape.
Frank Alexander was indicted by the Allen County Grand Jury on ten counts of rape, six counts of sexual battery, and one count of gross sexual imposition.
According to the indictment, the alleged acts occurred during various periods of time, starting as early as 2008 and again from 2011 until January 2019. The indictment states that the victims were under 13 years old at the time.
Day two of the jury trial brought a forensic expert to the stand, where they stated that they matched DNA found in a rape kit to Alexander.
A police interview video was also played in court, where Alexander can be heard admitting to the crimes.
Closing arguments are expected to be presented Thursday morning, where a jury will then deliberate for a verdict in the trial.
