A Lima man will be facing more charges when his case moves to Allen County Common Pleas Court.
The Allen County Grand Jury has indicted Joseph Cheney on two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault. He allegedly stabbed and killed his mother, 71-year-old Rachel Cheney, on May 27th. He is facing a possible 15 years to life if convicted of the murder charge. Cheney is currently being held on a one million dollar bond. No pretrial hearing has been set yet in the case.
