Cold Case Homicide of Mary Mosley
August 5, 2024, Press Release from the Lima/Allen-Putnam County Crime Stoppers: On February 18, 1981, at approximately 12:41 a.m., officers from the Lima Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in reference to a woman pleading for help. Upon arrival, officers located 32-year-old Mary Mosley of Lima, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Mary was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The Lima Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in solving this over 40-year-old heinous crime and providing justice for Mary’s senseless murder.
