A Lima woman is facing multiple charges for trying to run over a man with a car last month.

40-year-old Bethany Gerding was indicted by an Allen County grand jury on charges of aggravated vehicular assault, felonious assault, and two OVI charges. The Lima Police Department says the incident happened around 1 a.m. on June 9, 2019, in the 1900 block of Brookwood Drive. The Lima police say Gerding intentionally hit 21-year-old Bryan Chambers with a car. Chambers was taken to the hospital with injuries. No date has been scheduled for her arraignment on the new charges.
