The Lima Allen County Regional Planning Commission is asking for your feedback on the county's active transportation system.
Active transportation is any man-made movement like walking, bicycling, and even skateboarding. This is your opportunity to report any issues that you might have with active transportation. The 2022 Active Transportation Plan is being updated with respect to the Ohio Department of Transportation's new Walk.Bike.Ohio Policy Plan.
Shaunna Basinger of Lima Allen County Regional Planning Commission says, “We want to know what you have to say about our active transportation system, the state that it's in, the connectivity between different parts of our neighborhood, the ease of use, do you know enough about it? Basically, all, any feedback from the public that we can get is good feedback.”
Surveys can be taken in person at the branches of the Lima Public Library or online at Lima/Allen County Regional Planning Commission's website or Facebook page.
