Two men have been arrested for a May burglary in Van Wert that sent one person to the hospital. 19-year-old Kaiden Gilbert and 19-year-old Johnathon Miller, both from Van Wert, were charged with aggravated burglary, kidnapping, felonious assault, and theft. Both were taken to the Van Wert County Jail and will be arraigned this coming week. Van Wert police say that on May 9th, an armed burglary took place at a home in the 300 block of Tyler St. Two people were at home at the time, the suspects had a gun and beat one of the victims with it, sending them to the hospital.
