LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Good news for all pizza lovers out there who are looking to support their local communities.
In an effort to help out Allen County Health and Educational programs financially, the United Way of Greater Lima is teaming up with Papa Johns for their "Dollars for Dough" fundraiser event this Wednesday. The one-time event is part of the organization's "Season of Giving" campaign to help support partner agencies while enjoying some good food.

"All of the funds that we raised during the year for our campaign, our allocations committee decides at the end of the year how much we can give to these programs for these department agencies so they can continue. Things like this go into our general fund so that we can then have more money to divvy up for our partner agencies to help the people in our community," said Erin Hardesty, President & CEO, United Way of Greater Lima.
Papa Johns will be donating 20 percent of their sales to the United Way, with each customer receiving 10 percent off their order.
