Wapakoneta Woman Found Competent For Trial In Fatal Crash

A Wapakoneta woman accused of intentionally running over a man and killing him has been found competent to stand trial. 

34-year-old Jade Miller underwent a mental evaluation in January and was found competent to stand trial for murder and aggravated vehicular homicide. 

Miller has pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity to both charges. She's accused of running over 32-year-old Michael Angel, of Lima, in September of 2015. 

The night of the accident, witnesses said the two were arguing inside a vehicle, and when Angel got out of the car, Miller ran over him. It happened on Brighthorn St. in Wapakoneta. 

He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. 

Miller has signed a speedy time waiver an her next hearing is set for April.Â
