An arrest has been made in connection to a homicide investigation that began with the discovery of a body last summer in Hardin County.
According to the indictment, 33-year-old Valerie Lewis has been charged with two counts of aggravated murder, two counts of robbery, tampering with evidence, and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle. She's currently being held in the multi-county jail in Marion and is awaiting her first court appearance. Those charges are believed to be connected to the death of Robert Mays back in July of 2021.
Mays' body was discovered on a rural road in Buck Township. The investigation afterward led to the arrest of two other people, Hayden Radabaugh and Andrew Wells. Those two men were charged with one count each of having weapons under disabilities.
