A Lima man who was indicted on child pornography charges in 2020 has now been sentenced in Allen County Court.
48-year-old Daniel Bettis was sentenced to four years in jail after he took a plea deal and pleaded guilty to four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance. Bettis will also need to register as a tier one sex offender.
According to an indictment back in April of this year, the offenses happened in 2020. Bettis was previously convicted of similar charges in Butler County in 2003.
