LIMA, Ohio (WLIO)  – The Lima Police Department is investigating its second early morning shooting in the past two days.

One person involved in the argument allegedly began shooting, and the victim ran before being struck in the hand.

Just after 3 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s, where a 31-year-old man arrived with a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim said he was in the area of Brice Avenue and Charles Street when an argument broke out across the street. One person involved in the argument allegedly began shooting, and the victim ran before being struck in the hand. Officers responded to the area but could not locate any evidence of the shooting.
