LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Liberty Arts Magnet School held their second annual "Spring Spotlight Open House" today.
First through eighth graders showcased a variety of their talents and skills in front of their friends and family at the school.
Spectators were treated to choir and dance performances, artwork and poetry, and additional educational activities and resources that the students had worked on throughout the year leading up to today's event.
"My favorite thing is seeing the smiles on the kids and their families' faces when they point out something that they worked hard on. You see that spark in their eyes, that joy and just the love and pride they have in what they are doing. They are really taking care in their education, and it's something they are proud of. So, we want them to feel proud of it and want them to enjoy what they are doing while they are at school," added Sara Chongson, Music Teacher at Liberty Arts Magnet.
The Liberty Arts Magnet School continues to support young students with their personal interests and hobbies on top of their academics.
